The life rescue of 33 Chilean miners survived for 70 days to 700 meters deep, was undoubtedly a historic event that was followed closely by many of the world population.
But behind this, that captured the attention of the media, lies a security problem that has not yet been settled, not only in Chile but in most countries where mining plays a key role.
In this regard, Daily chatted with Bike Nestor Jorquera, president of the Confederation Minera de Chile ( CONFEMIN ), who made an analysis of precarious labor conditions that have to endure daily Chilean miners.
